Speech Jammer ("the App") is published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App.
1. Data We Collect
Speech Jammer does not collect any personal data. The App processes audio in real-time on your device and does not transmit audio or personal information to any server.
- Audio: Microphone input is processed entirely on your device using AVAudioEngine. No audio is recorded to our servers or transmitted off-device.
- Recordings: When you record a jammed speech session, audio files are stored locally on your device. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share them.
- Challenge scores: Personal best times and challenge progress are stored locally on your device.
- Preferences: App settings (delay, mode, audio configuration) are stored locally on your device.
- Purchase information: Subscription status is managed through Apple's App Store and stored locally for feature access.
2. Microphone Access
- The App uses your device microphone to capture audio and play it back through your headphones with a delay.
- All audio processing (delay, pitch shift, echo, speed ramp) happens entirely on your device.
- No audio data is transmitted to any server.
- The App only accesses the microphone while the jammer is active.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Apple App Store / StoreKit: Manages premium subscriptions and purchases. Governed by Apple's privacy policy.
- Google AdMob (free tier only): Displays advertisements to free-tier users. AdMob may collect device identifiers for ad personalization. See Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Data Storage and Security
- All recordings, challenge progress, and preferences are stored locally on your device.
- No data is transmitted to or stored on our servers.
- Purchase verification uses Apple's secure StoreKit framework.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. No audio or usage data is shared with any third party. AdMob may collect device-level data for ad personalization (free tier only).
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Delete individual recordings from within the App
- Delete the app to remove all local data
- Request information about data handling by contacting us at privacy@bulpara.com
7. Children's Privacy
The App is rated 4+ and does not collect any personal data from users of any age.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
