These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Speech Jammer application ("the App") published by Bulpara Inc ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Speech Jammer is an iOS application that uses delayed auditory feedback (DAF) to disrupt speech in real-time. The App captures audio from your device's microphone and plays it back through your headphones with an adjustable delay. Features include four jammer modes (Classic Delay, Pitch Shift, Echo Chamber, Speed Ramp), tongue twister challenges with personal best tracking, and one-tap recording with sharing.

2. Important Limitations

The App is an entertainment product. You understand and agree that:

• The delayed auditory feedback effect varies by individual — some people are more affected than others.
• Headphones are required for the App to function. The App will warn you if headphones are not connected.
• Audio output volume is capped for hearing safety, but you should use the App at a comfortable volume level.
• The App is not a medical device and should not be used as a substitute for professional speech therapy or treatment.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the App to harass, bully, or cause distress to others without their consent
• Use the App in a manner that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
• Attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or free tier limitations

4. Subscriptions & Billing

• Free tier: Available at no cost with Classic Delay mode, 3 recordings per day, and 3 starter challenges.
• Premium Monthly: $2.99/month for all 4 jammer modes, unlimited recordings, all 16 challenges, and no ads.
• Premium Annual: $19.99/year (save 44%) with a 7-day free trial.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's Terms of Service.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Microphone & Audio

The App requires microphone access to function. All audio is processed in real-time on your device. Recorded audio files are stored locally and are only shared when you explicitly choose to share them. No audio data is transmitted to our servers.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Bulpara Inc and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for its intended purpose.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BULPARA INC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Hearing discomfort from audio playback at high volumes
• Speech disruption effects varying by individual
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Device battery or storage impact from app usage

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bulpara Inc from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the business.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.
